What happens in life.
I recently wrote a blog on how stress comes into your life right when you don't need it to. I had a lot of family issues today and then I got some news that my friend was not doing to good. She was having a hard time breathing and experiencing some pain in her chest. She went to the doctors and was given an inhaler to help. It didn't work and she found herself in the hospital for 3 hours getting tests and x-rays. Me and a friend waited around to hear the news, trying to pass the time was excruciating Wondering what was going on, researching illnesses, trying to stay calm for her sake...it was all too much. Walking away from things like that make you so much for panicked and stressed than you need to be. It is way easier to do things like that and to stay calm if you have someone there with you. My friends and I remain close together, like most friends do. We stay calm together, and help each other through things. We have our annual little talks in my basement with comfort food, a calming movie, and blankets in case we fall asleep. Taking turns talking about things with the people you trust is one way to get some things off of your chest or get some help. Next time you find yourself feeling stressed out, try to get a group of friends together and have a long chat. It might help, but it might not. Feel free to leave me a comment.

I really like how you explained why you were stressed out and what you were doing to cope with the stress that it was putting on you!!! I hope that your friend gets better!!!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree that stress comes at the worst times. For me just being by my self and doing something i enjoy helps me cope with stress. For example i am a creative person so i usually do something artistic like paintings. maybe you could try that sometime. I hope your friend is getting better!
